Prince of Peace,
Come and fill us with your presence. You clothe us in royalty to demonstrate the authority of your stillness. This country is in a state of unrest beyond the realm of natural circumstance. People are shouting. The waves are crashing. People are desperate for hope. You are a warring prince that fights for our oasis rest. Overshadow your precious name over this country and solidify your kingdom as the dominat focus for our lives. May we never lose our wonder in discovering the heart of who you are. You are still good. You are still worthy. Nothing has changed in regards to your heart. You are the same yet you prepare our hearts for something new. When we have no words to say, let the Spirit of God roar. You are the only answer that will begin to dismantle the powerless demonstration of rage and the long suffering spirit of racism. Whenever we are speechless, you remain our voice. Let our hearts sink into the majesty of your peace and demonstrate the banner of justice for all oppressed under the influence of the Evil One.
I am having a hard time in what to say - spending hours coming up with the right words yet none can do it justice. Holy Spirit - I need you - we need you - you are the only answer to our hearts cry. You are our rest - our friend - our song - our joy. Let revival begin here. Let the song of this nation rise as diversity begins to become unity of heart. Gather us together to sing of your love for one another.
